What is resilient flooring?
Resilient flooring is a hard-wearing, slightly flexible floor covering, such as vinyl, laid over a prepared base. It is used in busy commercial spaces that need a durable, comfortable floor, and over time it needs restoring.
Where we restore it
- Sports halls and gyms, including marked courts and borders
- School halls, classrooms and corridors
- Hospitals and healthcare buildings
- Offices, shops and other commercial spaces
How we work
- Assess. We look at the space, how it is used and the condition of the floor.
- Prepare. The floor is cleaned and made ready, because a good result depends on careful preparation.
- Restore. We bring the floor back to a good, hard-wearing condition so the space can be used again.
Restoration only
We restore existing resilient floors. We do not supply or fit new resilient flooring, and we do not work on resilient floors in homes. For homes in Hexham and Northumberland, see our floor sanding and floor restoration services for timber floors.
